About
My name is Tahina and I live in Antananarivo the capital city of Madagascar. I Started this blog in September 2008, during a Foko workshop with some ICE friends, in the hope of helping people know more about my country. I’ve noticed that the movie have eclipsed my Island either on the internet or on people’s mind. It’s a fact and I’d like to change that. A little survey on google made by a friend revealed that even the political turmoil in Madagascar has not had more influence on the “Madagascar” keyword trend than the movie. And we have almost the same thing on twitter.
Thus, I’ll try to write, I say “try” because I’m no really good at writing, posts related to Madagascar and Malagasy people to let you find out what it is actually about.
PS : that doesn’t mean I dislike the movie :p
Congrats Man, You do the right things and just keep moving.

Hi, I’m Italian from Rome but in 2004 my wife and me adopted 2 fantastic children (sons) from Antananarivo.
They are our only reason of life because they give us all day happiness…..
Now they are 11 and 9 years old, are two italian students and sportboys but in their deep they are africans…..
Often I tell them that also my wife and me are Malagasy like them…
